14 night transaltantic cruise on Liberty of the Sea

Peter and Susan Marshall says:
November 14, 2011 at 11:20 am

We took a 14 night transaltantic cruise on Liberty of the Sea recently. It was on my “Bucket List” of things to do. We flew to Barcelona, Spain to the meet the ship for a great adventure while sailing across the Altantic Sea. We had several stops in Spain and then the Canary Islands before sailing to Ft Lauderdale, FL. Bob was very helpful prior to this cruise by frequent phone calls to ensure we had the proper paperwork, insurance, tours and miscellenaous information needed for a great trip. The Liberty was the biggest ship we had been on but Bob assured us that we would want a larger ship for smoother sailing. He was right! The ship was rocking as we had some bad weather and we were glad that Bob also suggested getting a stateroom on one of the lower decks. The speciality restaurants on board were wonderful, however, having to pay for Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream was an extra charge. The Dreamscapes animation characters were wonderful to interact with and any young person would enjoy traveling with Shrek, Fionia and Donkey. The Cruise and Activities Directors keep the travelors up to date with information. At times, some of the activities were too crowded to participate in and that was disappointing. Bob did an excellant job in preparing us for this trip and we will be using him for our next cruise.

Expired Ticket Tax Refunds Disappear

The Internal Revenue Service announced late last week that travelers who bought airline tickets before the Federal Aviation Administration shut down on July 23, but flew after that date, will not receive a ticket tax refund after all. Any tickets bought as a travel package from bob4cruise also fall under the new ruling from the FAA.  However, passengers who bought tickets after July 23 (while the FAA was not operating) do not have to pay the ticket taxes retroactively. Airlines began charging the taxes again yesterday. check out our latest video here !                                            Sorry bob4sun

will the sun be out at midnite ?

“Land of the Midnight Sun” isn’t just a clever term. On summer solstice in June, the sun is up before 4 a.m. and sets after 10 p.m. – that’s 18 hours of daylight. Don’t forget to get some sleep. From summer soltice to winter soltice in late December daylight hours slowly shrink to the shortest day when its light by 8:30 a.m. and getting dark by 3:30 p.m. Then the tide turns and daylight hours begin the ascent to summer solstice again.

Client Review Holland America Cruise

My friend and I took a 10 day cruise on the Holland American and had a great time. Thanks to our travel expert, Bob, we were well prepared with the correct documents, clothing and incidentals. Our room, small, inside, was adequate–and who cares– we only slept there. There  were tons of activities, entertainment and a chance to make new friends. Everyone was friendly, even the people in wheelchairs or walkers. The food was always available and great, sometimes excellent. The staff was excellent, always willing to help. I most appreciated the staff, after all, I dreamed of being waited on!
